The Sweet Dynasty
In Hong Kong, sweet stuffs is an important after meal dessert. It's so critical that it spawns endless restaurants with strong focus on sweets. Out of hundreds, there's one that stands out. It has Japanese tourists flocking in on an hourly basis, locals getting in for a late night supper and the typical me looking for good food. Actually, every single time I visit Hong Kong, I will not fail to visit Sweet Dynasty in Hong Kong. Located conveniently in Canton Road, Kowloon, its distinct oriental design can easily be missed because of many others who are located near to it. One of the few desserts that are really good - Almond soup (its so nice!) and Tofu Pudding made with mountain stream water and produced originally within wooden buckets. I'm not discounting anything else because everything here taste good. Favourites that you would need to order are Stir-fry beef noodle, Yong Chow Fried Rice and a whole list of congee. This is considered a MUST-TRY place in Hong Kong. Bear in mind the crowd so do go early if you don't want to stand in a long queue.
